I can’t believe the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is only a month away! Just a year ago we were heading to the show with the release of the new 345 Nomad SE & FE along with the 200 Flats boat. Now it is a year later and since then we have created the 375 Nomad FE & SE , the 407 Nomad FE & SE , and we are finishing up the 345 Valor and the new flagship 477 Evolution . That is (9) new models released in just 12 months! You wanted more innovation and model selection, well we brought it.
Like last year, we will have an event at our sales office on Friday, October 18th and Saturday the 19th, which is the weekend just before move-in to the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. This will give you a sneak peek opportunity to see all of the new models before they go to the show, and will also give you a leg up on a better delivery date.
Never before have we brought this many new models to fruition in a 12-month period and with that being said, I want to take this opportunity thank everyone at the factory for all of the long hours everyone worked to make it happen. From the Engineering team, to the Tooling team, Lamination, CNC, Assembly craftspeople, MEP Techs, Upholstery, Finishers, Detailers, and last but not least, thanks to you!……Our customers! Because you are the designers at Intrepid. You spoke and we heard you! And if I say so myself, I feel we delivered. But, you will be the judge of that and I cannot wait for all of you to see them in person!
Be sure to try and get to our event in Dania and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show next month. We look forward to catching up with all of you!!

I just got back from the boat show in Newport, Rhode Island. Joe Brenna and I were there supporting our New England sales partner, Hyannis Marina  www.hyannismarina.com . They were showing the 375 Nomad SE that we recently built for them. It was great to see our friends in the Northeast. Every time we visit, we learn new ideas on how they use their boats. It’s always been our customers’ suggestions and ideas that make each one our boats one of a kind, so it’s always very helpful to get another perspective on what we do.
Now that I’m back in Florida, we are running in the full-speed-ahead mode to get ready for what’s coming in October. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at the end of October is the beginning of our show season. This year we couldn’t be more excited about our upcoming boat shows because of all the new models that we’ll have on display.
As a prelude to the Fort Lauderdale boat show, we will be hosting our yearly sneak preview event on Friday and Saturday, October 18th and 19th. This is a great opportunity to be the first to see our new models and what everyone else will see at the boat show. It will be held at our Harbour Towne Marina location and will be a good time for everyone. More information on this event will be forthcoming as we get closer to the date. We all look forward to seeing you there.
Best,
Alex Rizo
I was in Newport, Rhode Island for the boat show there last week. It was a great opportunity to work with our sales partner in New England, Hyannis Marina. We showed a 375 Nomad SE there and everyone was very excited to see it. We have worked with the team at Hyannis on warranty and service needs for many years so it’s natural for them to sell our boats. Being in New England in September reminds me that winter is just around the corner and that people in the northern climates will soon be putting their boats away for the winter. We have amassed a good collection of marine contacts over the years, so if you have any questions or comments about storing for the winter, please give me a call. Jim Kelly recently took delivery of his new Intrepid 407 Nomad SE. It’s a great new model that we are introducing at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. It will serve the FLIR fishing team very well and will fish for the first time in the 28th Annual Fall Suncoast Kingfish Classic on October 12th in our local waters. Jim, Lance, Mark, and I can’t wait to fish this wonderful new machine. It has plenty of fuel for our long trips out to the Middle Grounds and promises to be a great boat that Jim will also be able to use with his family. |

It’s a busy time in Largo with move-in to the Lauderdale Show about a month away. We have some exciting new models that will be on display there. There’s always time for friends to visit though, so please contact me if you’d like to come over and see what we’re doing. Happy Boating, Joe |
