Recently acquired a 323 Cuddy. Might have overfilled the tanks since there is now fuel smell coming from the bilge. Particularly around the front tank (auxiliary?) Is this a sign of a leak? I ran the boat so that the aux is now nearly empty. It doesn’t seem that there is more gas leaking, the smell still persists though.
Any good way to clean this up? Is it safe to drain freshwater into the inspections ports (e.g. around the tank) to try to flush any remaining gas?
