We scheduled this newsletter to go out on Thanksgiving morning because it is a great time for us to give thanks to all that are reading this.
First, thanks for being signed up to this newsletter because it shows that you are interested in what we do and what we build; whether you are a loyal customer or just a person passionate about the brand that likes watching what we do.
Second, I also want to give thanks to everyone who came out to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show earlier this month. We had a fantastic show and sold a bunch of boats, and best of all we got to spend time with all of you! It was great to hear what everyone did this past summer, the trips you took, the fish you caught, and the memories you made.
Last (but absolutely not least), I want to give thanks to all of our families – to all of the amazing craftspeople that work so hard here at Intrepid everyday helping us make people’s dreams come true; and to our own families at home that put up with our long hours, answering emails in the middle of the night, and blurting out new ideas in the middle of dinner! As you can see, all of us associated with the Intrepid brand have a lot to be thankful for!
Thank you for being part of the Intrepid family and may you have an amazing Thanksgiving!!
Happy Thanksgiving to all. We all have lots to be thankful for so let’s enjoy the day in its true spirit. Since we’re being thankful, I’d like to express my appreciation to our customers who came to visit with us at the Fort Lauderdale and Hamilton Harbor Boat Shows this month. We worked very hard to get all the new models that we’ve developed this year to the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show. They were all well received with special mentions going to our new 477 Evolution and the 345 Valor. The 477 Evolution sets a standard of excellence that will please all who set foot on this wonderful vessel. The same can be said for our new 345 Valor. It offers the same standard of excellence on a smaller scale.
Also, during the boat show we held our Intrepid Gear Raffle. We are happy to announce that Cheong Park of Boca Raton Florida is the winner of $500 dollars’ worth of Intrepid Gear. We will be repeating this raffle again during the Miami International Boat Show so please make sure to sign up then. If you haven’t visited our Intrepid gear store on our website be sure to do so as we’ve added many new items that will be sure to please.
Our friends at Hamilton Harbor Yacht Club in Naples hosted their 12th annual Boat Show on November 15th & 16th. We really enjoy participating in this special event every year. Many of the members there are our customers, so it’s a great opportunity for us to visit with past, present and future Intrepid owners.
Our next and last boat show for 2019 is the St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show that opens on December 5th and runs until the 8th. It’s the largest Power and Sailboat Show on the Gulf Coast. We will have our 407 Nomad FE and 475 Sport Yacht on display this year. We’d love to see you there so please try to include a visit to see us next weekend. Information on this show can be seen by opening the link below:

Our best wishes go out to all our friends for a great start to the 2019 holiday season.
Best,
Alex Rizo
Happy Thanksgiving to all in our extended Intrepid family. This weekend is the official opening of the 2019 holiday season so let’s make this a good one for all concerned. We are wrapping up a good year here at Intrepid and look forward to 2020 so we can continue to provide our customers with great service for another year.
I had the pleasure of setting up and working the Hamilton Harbor Boat Show this month with our friends there. They have a great facility and provide wonderful support for all their customers. It reminded me of how important it is to have a good home for your boat. Their building is state-of-the-art and truly a vault for special boats. I’m happy that lots of our customers keep their boats there because they are always safe. We have a similar facility at our Dania sales and service facility in Harbour Towne Marina. It looks like hurricane season has treated us well this year, but this is always a consideration when looking for storage. I always like to recommend having a storm plan for whatever contingencies may arise.
We strive to make our boats better every day, one of the improvements that we recently initiated is to label all the wires in our consoles. This is a time-consuming process but will make our boats better. We document all the wire runs on a “wire key” for each boat we build. Now each wire on the terminal strip is labeled as well. This will make service and upgrades much easier to accomplish for the life of the boat.
Our last boat show of 2019 will be held on the waterfront in St. Petersburg next week from December 5th to the 8th. This is an event that has grown nicely over the years. We displayed some of our boats there in years past and were pleased with the results, so we decided to display a 407 Nomad FE and a 475 Sport Yacht there this year. I’ll be there to lend our sales team a hand so please pay us a visit if you are in the area. Our standing invitation for a factory tour is still open to whomever would like to come over to see how we build our boats.
Enjoy the day.
Happy boating,
Joe
