“Hi James, Congratulations on your new acquisition. Welcome to the Intrepid family. Installing a windlass after the boat is built is certainly possible. We use the Maxwell series windlasses now, their RC-8 would probably be best on a 310. There are chases through which the power and control cables can be run. You would need to properly mount the windlass on an area that has high density material as its core.
